Callahan’s Beach is a small town beach in Fort Salonga, just down the road from Sunken Meadow State Park and right off of 25A. Large cliffs overlook the beach, where visitors can walk a portion of the Green Belt Trail. This beach tends to be very rocky but the water is certainly refreshing on a hot summer’s day.
There is a playground and large picnic area with tables and benches shaded by large trees. Fishing is permitted and outdoor showers are available along with a food stand and restrooms during the beach season.
