Cow Meadow Park and Preserve, not to be confused with
Crab Meadow Beach, has been a county park since 1970. 150 acres of marine wetland, including mud flats, salt marshes, and tidal creek habitats make a home for over 150 species of birds and a dozen different types of mammal. There is nowhere to swim at Cow Meadow, but there is a marina with 30 boat slips, a fishing pier that is open year-round, a baseball field, basketball court, handball court, and jogging course.
