Coopers Beach is a Southampton Village that is located on Meadow Road. It stretched about 500 feet along the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean offering breathtaking views. Open between May and September the beach provides space for many activities and places to relax and enjoy the sun. Residents and non-residents can gain access to the beach with the purchase of a pass. Parking is also available; during the period when the beach is open a sticker issued by the Village of Southampton, New York must be visible on your vehicle between the hours 9:30 a.m. and 5 o'clock p.m. If you are a Southampton resident you can obtain a seasonal parking sticker at the Village Hall that is good for the entire season. The sticker is free to village residents only. The beach provides a great place to relax and get away from the pressures of the work week.
At Coopers Beach you can surf and launch a power boat within designated areas. The beach is protected by a life guard. Prohibited activities include camping activities, tents, the drinking of alcoholic beverages, animals that are not on a leash and nudity. A list of rules for accessing Coopers Beach is posted prominently throughout the beach.
