Located in Sag Harbor, Foster Memorial Beach is a town beach and was the stretch of beach was left to the town after Sagaponack farmer Clifford Foster passed away.It spans along the Noyac Bay and is commonly known as Long Beach, not to be confused with the town of Long Beach in Nassau County. The thin strip of land connects Noyac to North Haven. Foster Memorial Beach is dotted with benches for those looking to relax and take in the scenery. A grassy picnic area is also available on premises as is a mobile food stand.
Permits are required to enter Foster Memorial Beach between May 15 and June 25. Dogs are allowed into the beach area but only on the marked dog walk routes. Showers, restrooms and sand wheelchairs are all available for visitors.
